What Do We Ask of You? We ask that when you are wearing the HandlebarsforHeaven® colors, you be an example of a true Christian, and avoid any and all appearances of evil. You should do nothing to dishonor our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. Above all you should always try to remember how you would change some small child’s life by sending out the wrong message, and you know children are always looking at you when you don’t know it. (The HandlebarsforHeaven® Patch will always remain the Property of HandlebarsforHeaven® organization). Different people have different levels of involvement, but we ask that you pray and ask the Lord how He would like you to be involved with HandlebarsforHeaven®. 1. Provide and encourage members to be active in testimony and Christian witnessing to all motorcyclists. 2. Provide a safe Christian fellowship ride group. 3. Provide an evangelistic association for motorcycling. If one wishes to Minister then let them do so with this in mind. Our ministry believes in the sword with two edges. The first edge is that of the missionary or evangelist whose charge is to the ministering of people where they are found. Thus you will find our missionary or evangelists at motorcycle rallies, shows, rodeos, dirt bike races, car events and rallies or anyplace our great outdoors has to offer. From these places they will stand alongside or lead Christians and non-Christians alike into places where they will be confronted by Jesus Christ. The second edge is the members of HandlebarsforHeaven® Christian Riders. They are the instruments of Gods word in seeking out and reaching people in their own right. Members should not be afraid of the dark or the unknown, as the Word of God they represent will carry them through and help them give a hand to pull other brothers and sisters to the light of Christ. They will minister as God leads. Revelation 21:1-4 Now I saw a new heaven and a new earth, for the first heaven and the first earth had passed away. Also there was no more sea. Then I, John, saw the holy city, New Jerusalem, coming down out of heaven from God, prepared as a bride adorned for her husband. And I heard a loud voice from heaven saying, "Behold, the tabernacle of God is with men, and they shall be His people. God Himself will be with them and be their God. And God will wipe away every tear from their eyes; there shall be no more death, nor sorrow, nor crying. There shall be no more pain, for the former things have passed away". |
